Pre-approvals
If you want to hold a strong bargaining position when it comes to negotiating the price of your chosen property then get a home loan pre-approval.
Knowing exactly how much you can potentially borrow will allow you to take control of the negotiations and ensure that you don’t over-commit yourself.
Important note: A home loan pre-approval is only a guide to your borrowing capacity and is valid for up to 3 months. You should always insist on a “subject to finance” clause being included in any contract of sale and never use your pre-approval to purchase a property at auction. Subject to confirmation of the details provided as part of our formal loan application approval process.
Every Queenslanders Credit Union loan has a redraw facility.
We believe if our members want to try and save on interest costs by making extra repayments – they shouldn’t be penalised. That’s why our home loan customers can redraw every dollar they are ahead on their home loan if they ever need to.
- Like many other lenders we do not charge a redraw activation fee
- There are no limits to how many times your can redraw on your loan
- There is no minimum redraw amount
- There is no maximum redraw amount, although a $10,000 per day limit applies for any Internet Banking or Phone Banking transfers.
