How to receive a telegraphic transfer
Receive foreign currency from an overseas account with our dedicated service that provides indicative incoming exchange rates and the acceptance of over 10 currencies.
An incoming overseas deposit allows you to receive foreign currency into your account, converted into Australian Dollars (AUD).
Notes to the person sending you money:
- It is essential to include ‘For further credit (full member name and number)’ in the payment notes.
- When sending funds in a currency other than AUD, please advise the sending financial institution that the transfer must remain in the same currency and NOT converted – this can also be included in the payment notes. Queenslanders Credit Union will arrange the conversion to AUD through our partners at American Express.
