Cash Passport – retrieving any balance of funds left on the card on your return…
To retrieve the remaining balance on the card, simply complete the Cash Passport Encashment Authorisation Form located at www.cashpassport.com.au and fax to 03 9282 0320.
Cash outs are processed within 2 business days. Note: Cash Outs of foreign cards will be converted to AUD prior to crediting to the customer’s bank account.
Or simply access funds via a local Visa ATM machine.
Please Note: The AUD Card is intended for use as a travel money card and not intended for use in Australia. A fee of 2.95% of the value of the transaction will apply when you use an AUD Card to withdraw from an ATM in Australia.
Inactivity Fee…
A monthly inactivity fee will be charged if the card is inactive for a period exceeding 12 consecutive months. Please refer to the Cash Passport brochure for more information on fees and limits.
Exchange rates…
Cash Passport provides a competitive rate of exchange. On AUD cards, exchange rates are converted at the time of the transaction. On foreign cards (i.e. USD, GBP, EUR and NZD), the exchange rate is converted at the time of purchase.
You will be charged a further foreign exchange margin if you use a card to make a purchase or ATM withdrawal in a different currency to that of the card. For example, a further exchange will be charged if you use a USD Cash Passport in Europe.
