Queenslanders the biggest winner at Mozo People’s Choice Banking awards

For the third year running, Queenslanders Credit Union has been rated Australia’s Best Credit Union at the Mozo People’s Choice Banking Awards.

They also scored gongs for Best Home Loans and Best Personal Loans for the second year in a row, beating all other financial institutions in the country, including the Big 4 banks.

The Mozo awards invite Australians to have their say on their banking provider and vote for the nation’s best financial institutions. They are recognised as the most comprehensive consumer report card on the Australian financial services industry.

This year 35,000 Australians reviewed over 170 providers across one or more product categories. They were asked to rate their banking provider on overall satisfaction, price, features, customer service, convenience and trust.

Mozo Director Kirsty Lamont congratulated Queenslanders for scooping the pool in this year’s awards.

“High scores for service and trust played a big role in their win,” she said.

A glance at the reviews left on the website shows why Queenslanders claimed victory. With an overall rating of 9.0, the testimonials written by Queenslanders customers were overwhelmingly glowing.

One reviewer named Karl said “If you get a home loan anywhere else, you’re doing it wrong. Queenslanders have the best product, hands down.”
