Membership Application

To apply for a loan, savings account or investment account with Queenslanders you must become a member. Membership simply means that you are entitled to voting rights at our Annual General Meeting and you become an owner of Queenslanders Credit Union.

How to apply for Membership by Mail
Simply fill out your Membership Application and Identification Reference for a Signatory to an Account (Section 21) form and send forms to:

Fill in your details on the 2 page Membership Application form. In order to process your application quickly, please follow the steps below:

Step 1Complete Part A of the Identification Reference for a Signatory to an Account (Section 21) form with your details – BUT DON’T SIGN IT YET!
Step 2

Ask your "acceptable referee" to complete Parts B & C of the attached Identification Reference for a Signatory to an Account (Section 21) form using either a Birth Certification, Citizenship Certificate, Passport of Drivers Licence.

Step 3Sign the attached in the presence of your referee.
Step 4

Complete the Membership Application form and mail the following to our office:

  1. Your completed Identification Reference for a Signatory to an Account (Section 21) form(s)
  2. Your completed Membership Application
  3. A cheque or money order for $10 made payable to "Queenslanders Credit Union" (this is payment for a share in Queenslanders Credit Union).
  4. A completed Payroll Deduction Authority(if applicable)

IMPORTANT: If you are opening a joint account, an Identification Reference for a Signatory to an Account (Section 21) form must be completed for each person.

Please refer to our Fees & Charges & Transaction Limits brochure. the Visa Debit Card, Term Deposit, S1 Account Account, S5 MoneyMaker Account and S7 Christmas Club Account are issued by Queenslanders Credit Union Ltd. These accounts are available through the one consolidated financial product, the Queenslanders Credit Union Account & Access Facility. You should consider the Product Disclosure Statement in deciding whether to buy or hold this product. A Product Disclosure Statement is available upon request at a Queenslanders Credit Union branch.
