Queenslanders Credit Union is a community owned financial institution established in 1963. With a fun loving and proactive team we aim to identify and meet all of the personal banking and insurance needs of our customers at locations across the state.
We are seeking the right person for two newly created positions of Personal Banking Consultant that will operate from our CBD (Edward St) and Anzac Square branches respectively.
These are ‘hands on’ roles with the successful applicants requiring well-developed skills in banking and the capability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and networks within the community. The key components for success in these roles are the ability to convert referrals generated by the branch and call centre team and to show initiative by personally driving new business growth through proactive sales activities.
As a proven achiever, you will be self-motivated and driven to succeed in a sales based role. You’ll play a key part in further developing the sales culture within the organisation and will also have the communication skills and maturity to make a strong individual contribution to team performance.
Formal Banking and Finance qualifications will be well regarded but not essential and the successful applicant will already have a proven record building business in a financial institution through effective networking and a strong work ethic. Some flexibility with working hours is required as aspects of the role will require working outside of normal business hours.
