Date: 19/06/2023

Description:

3,800 ATMs and counting

Great news for Queenslanders Credit Union members!

The ever growing rediATM network has increased yet again with the addition of more than 400 ATMs! This increase cements the rediATM network as one of the largest in Australia with now over 3,800 ATMs nation-wide. The network is also becoming one of Australia’s most convenient, with this recent addition seeing rediATMs enter the majority of BP Australia’s service stations.

Under an agreement made between rediATM participant BOQ and ATM Solutions Australiasia Pty Ltd, the latter with supply and manage the new ATMs to BOQ, all of which will operate under the rediATM brand.

Queenslanders CEO John Weier commented that the agreement is fantastic news for all rediATM scheme participants as it again increases the reach of a direct charge free ATM network for members. "We are especially pleased to see that rediATMs will be appearing in high convenience locations such as BP service stations," John said.

"The rediATM network truly punches above its weight in terms of offering reach and accessibility to cardholders. Members have access to one of the largest ATM networks in the country, one with a great presence outside of the mainstream metropolitan areas.  In Queensland it is the largest direct-charge free ATM network," John said.

rediATM is a unique collaborative effort of more than 100 card issuers, including the majority of Australia’s credit unions, who cooperate to offer a large direct-charge free ATM network to their cardholders. Having joined the scheme in September 2010, BOQ have now brought more than 660 ATMs into the network.
