Flood-stricken central and south east Queensland desperately needs help; those affected by the devastation resulting from the recent downpours have already received some assistance by way of clothing, blankets and furniture but what they’re really crying out for is cash donations.
Some families have literally lost everything; their homes, possessions, livelihoods and irreplaceable memories in the form of photographs and personal items.
Queenslanders Credit Union wants to support these communities where many of their members live and has donated $1,000 to the Premier’s appeal.
Members with loans who may be facing financial hardship due to the recent floods are encouraged to contact the Credit Union for assistance as soon as possible. We also encourage members unaffected to help make a difference by donating to this worthy cause.
