Healthy team a top priority at Queenslanders
Queenslanders Credit Union has been recognised at the Health Program Awards by Corporate Bodies International.
The awards acknowledge employers who strive for best practice and demonstrate value for their workforce by investing in their health and wellbeing.
Queenslanders took out the Silver Award for their Mind, Body & Soul Program, which includes initiatives such as an annual Health Expo – a week dedicated to free workshops, seminars and personal health assessments for staff.
CEO John Weier said he was proud of the commitment that Queenslanders had to employee wellbeing.
“We’ve really embraced the idea of a healthy team being a happy team, which of course leads to happy customers,” he said.
“As well as our annual Health Expo, our team have access throughout the year to a range of benefits that support their wellbeing.”
Corporate Bodies International Managing Director Leanne Scanes congratulated Queenslanders Credit Union on the win.
“Our judging panel enjoyed reading about the great effort Queenslanders Credit Union are taking to improve the health of their workforce,” she said.
