Anything left out?
Your contents left out in your yard are covered for loss or damage
caused by any insured event except theft and storm or rainwater
when cover is limited to $1000.
Contents away from home
If you temporarily remove your contents to another building, you
are covered for up to 25% of your contents sum insured.
Frozen Food
CGU Insurance will pay up to $500 for your frozen food if damaged
due to the failure of your freezer unit or electricity supply.
Guests
If you have visitors at the time of a catastophe, cover is extended
for up to $500 for their personal effects whilst in your home.
Credit Cards
If your credit cards are lost or stolen and charges incurred on
them, you’re covered for up to $500 on these fraudulent transactions.
Your Pets
If your pets are injured in an accident or catastrophe at home
covered by CGU Insurance, you’re covered for up to $200 towards
any veterinary expenses.
Contents in a bank or safety deposit box
You’re covered for up to 20% of your contents sum insured for loss
or damage to your contents when they are deposited in any bank or
safety deposit box in Australia.
Optional extended cover for you personal property
You can extend your contents insurance to cover your personal propery
for accidental loss, damage or destruction anywhere in Australia.
