ATM Access:

You can use your Queenslanders Redicard or Visa Debit Card at any RediATM in Australia without incurring an ATM Direct Charge fee. If you use another financial institutions ATM (i.e. non RediATM) then withdrawals will attract an ATM Direct Charge fee. You will be advised of the fee at the ATM before you conduct the withdrawal and will have an opportunity to cancel the transaction should you choose not to accept the fee.

Tip:

If you need “cash out” and you are making a transaction in a store select savings to pay for the goods and request cash out (Where cash out is offered) This will reduce the amount of transactions you need to make.

EFTPOS:

Use your Redicard or Visa card to make purchases at retailers with EFTPOS facilities.

If you are still using a Redicard, think about graduating to a Visa Debit Card. Your Visa Debit Card will allow you to make purchases without paying transaction fees.

Here’s how.

When you make a purchase with your Visa Debit Card, so long as you press the “CR” [credit] button and sign for your purchase, you’ll pay no transaction fees * . Pressing the “CR” button doesn’t mean you’re going into debt. Your card still works as a debit card and will access your nominated savings account. All it means is that your purchase is processed in such a way that it does not attract transaction fees **.

If you make purchases on the Internet, ensure you do it safely and securely with Verified by Visa.

PhoneBanking & NetBanking:

All you need is a phone or a computer with internet access to perform a number of banking transactions whenever you need to, from your home or office, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To start using PhoneBanking you’ll need your member number and an Access Code. To obtain your Initial Access Code, call our office on (07) 3218 7206 or 1800 177 278.

To start using NetBanking, you’ll need your member number and an Access Password. To obtain your Initial Access Password, call us on (07) 3218 7206 or 188 177 278. On entering your Initial Access Password, you’ll be asked to select a Permanent Access Password of any size to ten characters (number, or letters or combination of both).

PhoneBanking and NetBanking allows you to:

• Pay your bills via BPAY ®
• Obtain balances for savings, loans and investment accounts.
• Check transaction information
• Transfer money between accounts
• Transfer money between linked memberships
• Redraw from your mortgage (PhoneBanking only)
• Access account statements
• Check interest earnings
• Request a “fax-back statement” when you phone, or print your own statements when you’re NetBanking

Both PhoneBanking and NetBanking are fee-free services (Transaction fees may apply).

BPAY®:

BPAY is the time and cost-effective way to pay your bills. You can access BPAY online through Queenslanders Credit Union’s NetBanking facility and make payments to over 10,000 billers Australia-wide.

The easy and safe way to pay.

If you haven’t already used BPAY, it won’t take long to learn.

To pay online with BPAY follow these simple steps

Step 1 If you haven’t already registered for NetBanking, call (07) 3218 7206 or 1800 177 278 to obtain your Initial Access Password. (There is no need to register with BPAY.)

Step 2 Log on to NetBanking at www.queenslanders.com.au . Upon entering your Initial Access Password, you’ll be asked to choose a Permanent Access Password of any six to ten characters (numbers, or letters or combination of both).

Step 3 Enter your new Permanent Access Password – your account details will then appear.

Step 4 Look for the distinctive BPAY logo on your bills.

Step 5 Select the BPAY option under the “Transfers” menu and follow the simple instructions.

Step 6 Wait for and record your receipt number.

Make payments at any time, from your account

With BPAY you can pay bills when it suits you – seven days a week, day or night. BPAY lets you make payments from your cheque or savings account plus, you can also schedule payments for a later date.

Periodical Payment:

You can arrange a periodical payment from your Queenslanders Saving Account to an account at another financial institution or biller, e.g. your health fund.

Cheque Book:

Personal cheque books are available. To order a cheque book just call us on (07) 3218 7200.
