SMS Banking

At Queenslanders we’ve made it even easier to access information about your account details. You can now use our new SMS Banking facility to make enquiries on your accounts – all you need is a mobile phone.

By using the SMS messaging system on your mobile phone you can make balance and transaction enquiries on your Queenslanders accounts, or set up alerts so you’ll automatically receive an SMS message when a specific transaction has been made on your account.

Types of enquiries you can make using SMS Banking:

  1. You can make instant inbound SMS requests enquiring on the balance of your savings, loan and investment accounts as well as the last 3 transactions on these accounts.
  2. You can request that a SMS message is automatically sent to you when one of the following happens:
  • your pay is in
  • your available balance drops below a limit specified by you.
  • a cheque deposit is cleared
  • a NetBanking transaction is performed

When you register to use SMS Banking, you can decide which SMS Banking alerts you’d like to use and which ones you don’t need. Of course, you can change your SMS Banking options at any time via NetBanking or by calling one of our Customer Service Consultants on (07) 3218 7200.
